I'm freee!

My sweet William turned three just a couple weeks ago. While I can't believe he's so big, I love seeing him grow up. He's the best little guy ever and I love him so much.

-------

In the weeks before his birthday we talked a lot about how old he would be and started counting down the days. Subsequently every time he met someone new he'd say, "I'm Weeum. I'm freee." Then he'd use both hands to proudly display three fingers, a lot of times four because he can't quite get his little pinkey to stay down.

He had some  friends over a few days before his birthday to play and share his favorite cupcakes and juice boxes. After singing happy birthday it took him about five "pphhhhh"-s to blow out his candle.

His birthday was on a Sunday so grandma and grandpa came over for dinner. We celebrated with homemade ice cream and freshly made waffle cones. He loved it.

William's presents were big and plenty this birthday! Aunt Kira and Uncle Tyler gave him a Buzz Lightyear tunnel and tent/spaceship where he has since spent most of his time. Grandma and grandpa K. gave him a new Toy Story 3 big boy bike! While he didn't deliver the huge shock I anticipated, he loves it.

Christmas 2010

We were lucky enough to have two Christmas' in Moscow this year.   Last year we spent the holidays in California, so we were all excited for a Christmas with snow.  On the 24th we opened a few presents and had a delicious  and fancy prime rib dinner with Grandma and Grandpa.

William set out some Oreos and milk - and guess what?  The next morning Santa brought him a CHOO CHOO TRAIN.  He's been wanting one for a long time.  Although for the first few minutes he seemed more concerned about Santa leaving half a cookie and some crumbs on the plate.

We headed over to grandma and grandpa's and had a great day opening presents, playing games, and relaxing.  William was pretty overwhelmed and got spoiled like crazy.  He went to the store and bought presents for everyone all by himself (mostly).  Everyone agreed that the huge Pixar Cars poster he got Alesha was the best.

A few days later grandma and grandpa Gresham came into town with more gifts.  They had a great time seeing and spending time with their talkative little grandson.

Thanks everyone for a great Christmas and New Years!
